Launching first in Scotland's Central Belt

Post it. Compare it. Get it done.

OnBelt is the app that takes a job from the first photo to the final sign-off: quotes side by side, the start date agreed in the app, everything in one place.

Be first in.

    What is OnBelt?

An app that takes a building or repair job from the first photo to the final sign-off. Homeowners post a job and compare real quotes side by side. Trades get leads matched to their trade, quote the whole job, book the crew onto a calendar and send invoices, all in one place.

    When can I get it?

Early access is coming to iPhone and Android. Join the list and we'll message you once, the moment it opens.

    Where is it starting?

Scotland's Central Belt: Glasgow, Paisley, Motherwell, Livingston, Edinburgh, Dunfermline, Falkirk, Stirling and the towns between. Somewhere else? Join anyway and pick "Elsewhere". It tells us where to go next.

How does it work if I need a job done?

Say what's wrong in your own words, add photos and a budget, and OnBelt works out which trades it takes. Every quote answers the same questions, so you can lay them side by side. Pick one and agree the start date together, in the app. Until you accept a quote, trades see only your area and a rough point on the map, not your address.

I run a trade. What does it do for me?

Leads matched to your trade and your area, quotes for the whole job with payment stages, a calendar with your crew on the days they're working, one chat for each job, and quotes and invoices that show who owes you what. It works for a sole trader on a phone and for a firm with a crew and subcontractors.

    What will you send me?

One message when early access opens, by email and/or text to what you gave us. News and offers only if you switch them on. Every message says how to stop.

    How we use your details

    Who we are
OnBelt Limited, registered in Scotland (SC905061). We are responsible for the details you give here.
    What we keep
The email address and/or mobile number you type, whether you need work done or run a trade, your stop if you choose one, which of the switches on the form you turned on, and when you agreed. We don't keep your IP address, and this page sets no cookies. (Counting visits is separate, below.)
    Why
To tell you once, by email and/or text to what you gave us, when early access opens. If you also turn on news or offers, to send you those as well. We won't use the list for anything else without asking you first, and we never sell or share it for anyone's marketing.
    Why we're allowed
You agreed, using the switches on the form. Each one is separate, news and offers start off, and you can change your mind about any of them at any time.
    Who handles it for us
The companies that host this site and store the list and the visit counts, and later the ones that send the message. They only act on our instructions.
    How long
If you only asked to hear when early access opens: until we've told you it's open, then we delete your details. If you also turned on news or offers: until you ask us to stop. Either way, we delete your details 18 months after you joined at the latest.
    Counting visits
To see how people find this page and which parts they use, we count visits without cookies. For each visit we keep the page, the website or link tag that sent you, your country, the kind of device, browser and system (one word each), the buttons you press here, and the time. Your IP address and browser become a code that changes every day, so we can't follow you from day to day, and two days later even that code is scrambled for good. We don't keep your IP address, we never use the counts for advertising, and we delete them after 13 months. We're allowed to count visits like this (it's in our legitimate interests to know what's working) as long as we tell you and you can turn it off:
    Your rights
Ask us to show you what we hold, correct it or delete it, or stop messaging you, by emailing [email protected]. Every message we send will say how to stop. If you're unhappy you can complain to the Information Commission.
